Parents' Club FAQs

You've got questions.  We've got answers.

What is the Friends of Del Oro Card?

Are you planning on driving students to school sponsored events (e.g., sports competitions)?

If the answer is yes, you must first complete an agreement to transport students which you can get from the school office. You must be at least 21 years of age. Along with the signed agreement, you need a copy of your driver’s license, and you need to provide proof of auto liability insurance on the vehicle used to transport students in the amount of not less than $100,000 per individual, $300,000 total injury to persons, and $50,000 damage to property per accident. You must also show that your driver’s license is valid and currently not pending action to suspend or revoke by providing a copy of your driving record from the California DMV.

You can obtain a copy of your driving record from a local DMV office or at the DMV website: The DMV website requires you register first and then you can print a copy of your driving record for only $2.00.

Once you turn in this information to the school office, you will be issued a “Friends of Del Oro” card which allows you to drive students to school sponsored events.
