| 2020-21 TESTING UPDATEPSATThe PSAT will not be given this October 2020 nor later this school year due to COVID protocol restrictions. SAT and ACT Students can register for the test(s), but since last spring most testing sessions in California have been cancelled. If the test is cancelled, College Board and/or ACT will refund your money. It is our recommendation that juniors test toward the end of their junior year, if possible. Many colleges have become test optional during COVID. Please check with each college to find out their policy regarding test score requirements for college admission. COLLEGE BOARD SAT - COVID-19 UPDATESIf you have questions or concerns about your scheduled testing with College Board programs, please contact us as soon as possible. Given the high volume of inquiries, wait times may be longer than normal.Students Customer Service hours are 8 a.m.–9 p.m. ET, Monday–Friday. PSAT/NMSQT OCT 2019 PSAT TEST RESULTSHow to Get Your PSAT/NMSQT ScoresYour PSAT/NMSQT scores will be ready online in mid December. An email will be sent from College Board to the email address you, the student, provided on your test answer sheet. The email gives instructions on creating your College Board account, going to your online score report, gives you your access code and how you use it to view your scores. If you do not receive an email from College Board and would like to get your access code, please email Mrs. Fessenden at bfessenden@puhsd.k12.ca.us from your pushd email account. You could also come see her in the Del Oro Counseling office for the access code or to pick up a paper copy of the results The Practice SAT (PSAT) is offered in October. This is the primary test date set by College Board for the nation. The test is offered to freshman, sophomores and juniors. We highly recommend that juniors take the PSAT/NMSQT. Junior year is the only opportunity students have to qualify for the Nationl Merit Scholarship, based on there PSAT/NMSQT scores. There are a limited number of tests available and registration is first come/first serve basis. When available students can go to the webstore and pay for the exam online. Students will take the test in the morning and continue with their school day when the exam ends. What to bring: Number 2 pencils An approved calculator (we don't provide extra calculators) Your home address (you'd be surprised how many students don't know their complete address, including zip code) It can get cool in the gym and theater, so make sure to dress in layers. Students will receive an email (that they listed on the PSAT/NMSQT) to access to their scores sometime in December. If you don't receive an email, contact Mrs. Fessenden in the Student Services Counseling Office at Del Oro by emailing her at bfessenden@puhsd.k12.ca.us for assistance.
