  Why become a Sierra Promise student: 

  • Receive priority registration for your first semester
  • Access scholarships and other financial support
  • Make Student Education Plans and Career Action Plans
  • Connect to counseling and success programs for more resources and support

Eligibility and Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Sierra Promise partner high school
  • Apply to Sierra College, complete all pre-registration steps, and meet with a Sierra Transition Counselor to develop your academic plan
  • Enroll in Sierra College your first semester after high-school graduation (30 units your first year)
  • Complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application

TWO YEARS FREE

Two Years Free provides free tuition to first time students who are California residents. See how you can qualify. There is no income requirement, you just need to be a first-time student and a California resident.

Follow these steps to qualify:
  • Enroll full-time: 12 units required, 15 recommended.                                             *college credit earned in high school does not affect your eligibility for Two Years Free.

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act application. Get help completing the steps by contacting Financial Aid.
