JUNIOR INTERNSHIP INFORMATION

Juniors have the opportunity to earn a paid internship over the
summer. Internship dates: 6/8/20 (Monday) - 07/03/20 (Friday)
  • Internship applications will be available: 01/13/20 (Monday)
  • Application & all materials due to PCOE by: 03/20/20 (Friday)
  • Application/ Resume/Unofficial transcript due by: 03/20/20 (Friday)
  • Notification & scheduling for interviews the week of: 03/30/20 (Monday)
  • Interview dates: 04/20/20 ( Monday) & 4/22/20 (Wednesday)
  • Mandatory Parent Orientation: 05/06/20 (Wednesday)

Learn from construction professionals in these FREE Hands-On Workshops. 

No experience is required!  You will learn the basic skills of construction, framing, electrical. plumbing, tiling and more. Transportation is on your own.


Opportunities for paid internships (juniors) and

employment after graduation (seniors).

Classes are at Placer High School from 3 - 5pm in Room 208 (Wood shop) 

on the second Wednesday of each month


February 12 - Tile

March 11 - Plumbing/HVAC

April 15 - Carpentry


Space is limited, so please complete the APPLICATION and you will receive

 confirmation if you are one of the 30 participants.


Once you are confirmed, please complete the permission forms below and turn them in to Mrs. Fessenden in the

D.O. Student Services Counseling office ASAP

How to Get Your PSAT/NMSQT Scores

Your PSAT/NMSQT scores are available online. An email was sent from College Board to the email address you, the student, provided on your test answer sheet. The email gives instructions on creating your College Board account, going to your online score report, gives you your access code and how you use it to view your scores.  If you do not receive an email from College Board and would like to get your access code, please email Mrs. Fessenden at bfessenden@puhsd.k12.ca.us from your pushd email account.  You could also come see her in the Del Oro Counseling office for the access code or to pick up a paper copy of the results.

You will be able to hear about and sign up for college rep presentations, job and volunteer opportunities, workshops and events. 

Once you have joined Counseling Remind, you will be moved to a Counseling Remind group organized by last name. For example students with a last name that begins with F will be moved into the DOCOFs group and removed from the D.O Counseling group. You will receive the Counseling texts as part of that group!
