College Presentations

Every fall term, college admissions representatives from school across the United States to speak with our students. The college representative discuss admission requirements, majors, student life, scholarships/financial aid, athletics and much more. 

College presentations are open to students of all grade levels. See calendar for upcoming presentations.

 These hands-on workshops offer your child an up-close look at what construction job expectations are and how the skills they learn are put into action in the workplace. Juniors who participate in “Build-it!” workshops  MAY qualify to apply for a paid 4-week summer internship. Seniors who participate will be invited to a
career fair scheduled for April 14th. These workshops are also a strong addition to a young person’s resume.

Dates: December 13th, January 10, February 14, March 14th
Time: 3:00 P.M.- 5:00 P.M.
*Your own transportation is required.

The following paperwork must be completed and have parental/guardian consent:
Construction Workshop Participation Consent Form- You will bring this with you to the first Workshop you attend.

Sierra college offers assistance for families that would like help with completing the FAFSA or completing the Dream Act application. Click link above for dates and more information.

Classroom Guidance- Our counseling team meets with all students in the fall term and remaining freshman in the beginning of spring term in their English or history class. Emails with detailed information will be sent out to parents prior to meeting with the students.
