Council Backpacking Trip

To kick off every school year, the WAC council goes on a backpacking trip. We enjoy the fresh air, amazing views, stellar food, great conversations, and amazing friends. 


Only the most daring jumped into the freezing temperatures of Gem Lake. 

Gem Lake

Floating in the salty waters of Mono Lake.

We try things we may be uncomfortable doing (like floating in Mono Lake).

The hot springs at 6 in the morning.

Enjoying the places and people all around.

Smiles at any time of day.
