Hello,

I'm Ms. Toca. 

I was raised signing exact English (SEE) because I have a brother who is deaf and my parents were told it was the best form of communication at that time. I didn't learn ASL until I was an adult, but now I use it as my preferred form of communication in the Deaf Community and of course with my brother. 

Though I have taught ASL for 15 years at the college level, I am just now earning my K-12 credential to teach at the high school level. It has been an exciting journey for me and I look forward to sharing this beautiful language with all of you at your perspective levels.
