Six-Word Memoir

"For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn."     ~ Ernest Hemingway
DUE DATE: Thursday, August 20

The legend says that the great American writer, Ernest Hemingway, was once challenged to create a novel using no more than six words. His response:

"For sale. Baby shoes, never worn."

Your challenge is to write a six-word memoir (exactly six words, no more, no less) that sums up your individual life, philosophy, or life experience thus far. Then find or create an image that goes with your memoir. You are encouraged to creatively or artistically merge the image and six words using Photoshop or PowerPoint. Please email your six-word memoir and corresponding image to me by the due date. I will be putting all memoirs and images together in a PowerPoint slideshow, which will be shown to parents on Back-to-School night.
