About Sir Johnson

          

Sir Jeffrey Johnson attended university in England for three years, and graduated in 1983 with a BA in English and in History. While he was unsuccessful in his ambitious campaign to colonize England for America, he did weasel his way into Buckingham Palace with a buddy to sign the Queen's guestbook, and dub one another knights. He earned a Masters Degree in English in 1985, and then went to teach English as a second language in Kathmandu, Nepal, for nearly two years. 

He has been teaching at Del Oro since 2001, and started the Theatre Arts department in 2004. His first acting role as a student was a villain in a melodrama which allowed him to get in touch with his nefarious side. He now takes delicious pride in tormenting his students with Shakespeare, rhetoric, critical thinking skills, essay writing and, of course, theatrical productions.
