Course Units of Study:
Ag Mechanics prepares students for careers related to the construction, operation, and maintenance of equipment used by the agriculture industry. Topics will include safety, woodworking, electrical systems, plumbing, cold metal work, concrete, and welding technology.

  2. Basic electricity principles and wiring practices commonly used in agriculture

  3. Basic plumbing practices commonly used in agriculture

  4. Basic agricultural cold metal practices

  5. Basic concrete and masonry practices commonly used in agriculture

  7. Electric arc welding processes

  8. Land measurement and basic surveying
