Mr. Pahl

I  have been an Agriculture Instructor for 30 years.  I have taught many subjects under the Agriculture Education umbrella.  This includes Plant Soil Sciences, Animals Sciences, and Agriculture Math.  However, my  true passion in my Ag Teaching career is Agriculture Mechanics Welding/Metal Fabrication and Machine Shop.  I have had students build everything from a horseshoe boot jack to trailers to Rock Buggies.

I emphasize "Work Ethic".  Developing a high quality work ethic will benefit any student in their future.  Whether they want to continue in the metal field or not.  An excellent work ethic will help them be successful.  Being an FFA Advisor is very rewarding.  FFA instills a quality work ethic through the SAE's and leadership training.

I am a 1982 graduate of Del Oro High School.  I have always measured all of my education experiences as a student or a teacher against my experience at Del Oro.   Del Oro is a special place that cannot be duplicated anywhere else.  My wife Becky; who is a 1983 graduate of Del Oro, decided early that we wanted our 3 kids to attend Del Oro and experience this great school.  Our oldest, Lindsay is an Agriculture Teacher in Roy, Montana at Roy School.  Hunter is a Sacramento County Sheriff, and Tanner is a certified EMT and will be attending the Sierra College Fire Academy.
